"It's stressful taking someone to court.  But, that stress is nothing compared to the stress-turned-anger in trying to get the LA County Sheriff to serve a pair of small claims notices.  Ignoring the instructions they ASKED me to provide, they failed after two weeks of half-hearted attempts to serve the defendants.  With only 4 days left to serve or lose my court date, I called Southland Process Servers.  They responded immediately, making their first attempt the same day.  On the next day, they succeeded in doing what the County Sheriff couldn't: Serving the two Defendants at their Long Beach home by waiting until sundown (as suggested) when they come out.
